How the Dewatering Process Works

The process starts with understanding the sludge. Terravua can assist with sample testing to confirm solids content, polymer response and drainage behaviour before recommending a full-scale system.

Once the correct polymer and tube configuration are selected, the sludge is pumped through a conditioning point where flocculant can be added. The conditioned sludge enters the TITANTube, where solids are retained and clean filtrate drains through the geotextile fabric.

Over time, the retained solids consolidate inside the tube, reducing the volume of wet waste and making the material easier to handle, transport or dispose of.
