
Shipping Policy
1. General
1.1. Terravua arranges shipping and delivery of products both locally and internationally.
1.2. Unless otherwise stated in writing or agreed upon in a sales contract, all shipping, freight, duties, tariffs, insurance, and related costs are for the Client’s account.
1.3. Risk of loss or damage to goods passes to the Client once the products are handed over to the carrier.

2. Shipping Costs
2.1. Shipping costs are calculated based on product dimensions, weight, delivery location, and the selected method of transport.
2.2. Quotations will include an estimated shipping charge, but final charges may vary based on:

Currency exchange rate fluctuations;

Import/export duties, tariffs, and customs charges;

Port handling and clearance fees;

Changes in carrier surcharges (fuel, security, or seasonal).
2.3. Any additional charges incurred during transit or at the destination (e.g., storage fees, demurrage, customs penalties) are the responsibility of the Client.

3. Delivery Timeframes
3.1. Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith but are subject to change due to shipping line schedules, customs clearance, or force majeure events.
3.2. Terravua will not be liable for delays beyond its reasonable control but will communicate promptly with the Client on any expected changes.

4. International Shipping & Duties
4.1. For international shipments, the Client is responsible for complying with all applicable import regulations and securing the necessary permits or licenses.
4.2. Duties, VAT, tariffs, and any government-imposed levies are for the Client’s account unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
4.3. Where shipments are quoted on Incoterms (e.g., CIF, FOB, EXW), the terms will be clearly stated in the quotation and shall govern responsibility and risk.

5. Insurance
5.1. Standard shipping quotations exclude insurance unless otherwise specified.
5.2. Clients may request insured shipments at an additional cost, which must be confirmed in writing prior to dispatch.

6. Acceptance of Delivery
6.1. The Client must inspect goods upon delivery and notify Terravua in writing within 7 (seven) days of any visible damage, shortage, or error.
6.2. Failure to provide notice within this period shall constitute acceptance of the shipment as received.
